I think @asoofi1 needs a Boss Hoss V-8, how can he strap a pair of Orbit Shifters to anything with a smaller engine.

I have some panels and the comparison you saw was with panels in place. Only change was DL and no DL. By choosing when to employ FIR and IIR based on the room environment, mixed phase room correction can offer advantages that parametric filters alone cannot achieve. For a better understanding of how mixed phase can improve the IR read Dirac research papers on mixed phase room correction.

this is the FR I used and is very close to the native 212HT response in my room above 250hz. I like a little extra bass. Until I got the decay and GD correct I didn't have quite this much bass, but as it got tighter then higher levels still sounded good without any muddiness. At least for my taste.

btw, my mic is only accurate out to 10kHz.

Hate to ask (didn't read the entire thread): Does JTR have an "Atmos solution" so to speak? All I see are the 8HTs.

The OS's are great but there is more than one way to get a 20db house curve:

or this:

Or this very tame FR Graph DD took in 2014

I believe late 2011 Jeff went to BMS CD's. But the guys here can confirm for sure. I bought a pair of old T8's for cheap and sent to Jeff for CD Xover upgrade. was cheaper than new. And the way Jeff builds cabinets (lifetime) they were basically new.

For sale: Ben Q W7000 Projector W/four pairs of 3D glasses, Denon 4520 AVR, Definitive Technology PM600 HTIB, Silver Ticket 92" Fixed frame Aluminum PJ Screen. PM for any interests :)

You find an appreciable difference with the ne xo? I have t12's and didn't realize he had updated, curious if its worth it. Im not shipping these things to him, did you put the xo in or did you physically ship your speakers. Realistic to think I should be able to install a new xo?
