This is it next to my THT (retired to the garage setup) and my oldest daughter that is a little over 2.5 years old. The THT had been wrapped in suede and that is why it looks raw right now.

This is it in it's new home naked.

And with it's clothes on (blurry pic)

Tucked away in it's corner

After dialing it in.....Wow! This beast is super clean sounding with authority! I will get more time to play with it this weekend and hopefully get to take some sweeps.

edit...why the hell are my pictures so big??? I can make them smaller if you guys think it is overwhelming.

Awesome, congrats! Love the wall treatments too.

Using a RS spl meter would I just set MV at -5 and then set all trim at 75dB?

Does the Spears and Munsil disc use a - 20 dbFS tone or a -30 dBFS tone? Asked another way, are you supposed to set the levels to 85 or 75 with that disc?

No kidding! Is that just wall to wall absorption panels in different depths to also kind of double as diffusion as well?

I have three different depths and only the staggered squares have oc703 in them. Also the back panels as well. I never thought about the diffuser part. That is actually interesting. I got the staggered idea from landshark but put my own twist to it. I think that I want to make the back wall a little unorthodox as well but am sick of make panels and it is cold enough for me not to want to work in the garage. You guys can laugh at me know because I am in Houston and your winters are brutal compared to ours lol.

It is the new 215T. That is likely RMK's, as he is first in line for the new JTR REX.

Is there anywhere that I can read about the specs? Looks like two 15" drivers in a tall ported tower with a horn, but I want to know more.

Not much out there. The JTR site probably has the most detail:

By the way, I will be joining the JTR family after all - three 212HT's in rosewood veneer. Some may recall that I auditioned the JBL STX835 and was very impressed. It turned out the JBL's horn ended up not being able to be rotated for center channel use due to placement of the handles. Also, time didn't help the HF compression driver smooth out as much as I had hoped. ETA on the veneered Noesis: six weeks.

Well there's the magnets in the 15's smile.gif. I've got some nice spikes left over from my Revels in case I need to keep them from walking around.
BTW, Jeff is hobbit short so they aren't that big ... tongue.gifwink.gif

Uses -30dBFS tone so 75 right?

@RMK! - what's the eta on your 215's?
N8DOGG's Avatar N8DOGG 08:46 PM 02-06-2014
When I was talking to Jeff a few days ago, he said in the next few weeks he'll have his prototypes ready.... I guess that means the 215's and the 210's.
