Might need to take a road trip to hear these systems. Good thing they are all close to me.

Danley's are built like tanks, no doubt.
Yep Brandon told me the same thing, the speakers are the packaging. I laughed when I seen it. N.C to N.J no problem. Those little guys are getting around.

When volume is at 0 with either of those calibrations and a 0 dBFS test tone is played they will BOTH read 105 dB.

That make sense? Anything else is not reference and you can't call it reference. If you do you confuse people terribly

I know for sure Audyssey is out, I shut it off early as the 215's IMO do not sound good with Audyssey. It even tried to slip back on tonight. I had noticed that the system sounded awful and sure enough Audyssey reinstated itself.

I am really having a love hate relationship right now with the 215's. I had some music going and they sounded great, then I went back to a bass demo disc and then my center content was hard to hear and I just could not boost it. Then I went back to music and it sounded muffled? My wife came in for a minute and she said it sounded muffled. One thing I noticed is I am getting a really bad hiss from the amp, it is actually worse than hiss, it more like a fuzz. I have to get rid of the hiss, it is really bad. I like what I hear from the 215's, but I really need to find a middle ground. I gotta ways to go to getting this stuff tuned and still have a ton of work to do on the room. Be busy for quite a few more days.
And that was 9/17

I had legitimate problems. Mother nature got me right when finished painting. That water leak set me back quite a while.

Thats because you moved half away around the world so you get away from speaker racism...thank god you found some white bose speakers to make everything in the world right again.

BTW, I am such a looser that I spent my lunch (I work from home a lot) cleaning underneath my home theater seats. I keep the room tip top, apparently my kids didn't get the message because I found 1.5 years’ worth of old snacks underneath the chairs

@popalock , I am sure you did, but did you get that fixed? That was a gusher. Funny it was the same time. Mine was not that bad thankfully. Mine was small and most of the water seemed to come out of the recessed light. I was also getting my carpet installed the next day. Considering I used quiet rock the water never penetrated the rock, just the joints. Just ran some fast dry spackle up there and a light sanding and now you never know it happened, unless you see my last post

Yeah made me almost cry.

Then the painters also screwed it up, but the boss himself cameback Monday morning with his best guy and redid the whole room. Looks fantastic now. That was another 4 days set back.

Made some time after work to pick up the amps yesterday.Even had some time to make the power cord for the 12000dsp. With the Powercon connector that's provided with the inuke 12000. Btw, incase some here is thinking about a inuke 12000. It doesn't come with a power cord. It does come with a Nuetrik Powercon 30a connector. But you still have to go get your own raw 3 wire 12 awg cord. And 20 amp male plug. Then build it. Simple though. Anyway, unboxing the 6 and the 12 are totally different in size and weight. The 6 feels like a toy. Lol. And the 12 is like a tank..lol

Ha, actually had another leak where I am wanting to build out the ol' man cave. You should see this house in person man. For some reason the maintenance crew likes cutting access panels every where. You can walk in the nicest hotels, look up at the ceilings and see the random cutout access panels...Horrible.

I have it. Live from Berlin. I could only get it on DVD. David Gilmore is excellent. Been along time since I have had Goosebumps.

I bet the concert sounded great. I seen Floyd a few times in 87, 89 and 94 with my fiancée. Shows were great. Half my high school was there.

Nope, brand new DVD from the 2010-2013 tour. It's not even on the market yet. It'll be a reference DVD for us when it comes out.

I love that Blu Ray. For straight up sound quality I would say Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds and John Mayer concert Blu Rays are amongst the best I have heard.

Randy, are you still thinking about 215's or moving to something non-JTR?
