Is this how?

Sorry rhed, I told you to click on the "-" but you should be clicking on the "+", which will zoom in on the Y axis of your graph.
I would also set your limits at 45-100dB.

You also have to change it from linear to logarithm.

You should read the ReW guide here on avs

Rhed, stick with the 50dB increments, it looks better

Lol.. Yea. Learn something every day. Now I'm curious to where it's at now since I've been just using the EQ in the Inuke to adjust to my liking. This was the last one I measured a few months ago. I have to get my mic back from my brother. I have 4 more 2'x4'x4" sound panels that I didn't finish built yet. I'm thinking placing them on reflection points on the ceiling.

Then there is the Minidsp Dirac that goes in between the AVR and amps but it only has one sub out and I assume I would have to get amps for my 4 surrounds and I don't want to have to do that.

Then there is the XMC-1 but I'd like to get Atmos at some point...

So I'm going to try to wait patiently for a future avr (possibly combined with a future minidsp) that has both Dirac and Atmos.
If you can get the trial working, that's a great way to go before buying something.
If you contact Dirac support, I bet they can help (and hopefully reset the 2 weeks).

I agree. The only other thing I'd put in that league is when I started using good subs.

I was kind of laughing too at myself because when I first looked at your graphs I didn't notice the scale. I don't know if you have looked much at the REW thread? It is quite long but also very good. A lot of good knowledge and graph interpretation over there. At the risk of over simplifying I would focus on the FR (especially XO area), Impulse response and bass decay first. The more you can do with passive treatments the better, then go for DSP after that. There are some interesting other approaches with active cancellation like a double bass array. Doing it on your own could be a little involved but Dirac has also developed this approach with their new Dirac Unison available in auto environment only right now, but I am sure will develop into HT next. Interesting stuff, the computing power coupled with intelligent speaker placement for this type of design may lead us to outdoor bass indoors!

I know you and I have had similar good experience with Dirac. I forget how you are accessing? Are you using the XMC-1 or PC version?

I'm using the PC full version with JRiver. It comes with a license for 2 rooms, and I'm using it in my theater and my bedroom with great results in both cases.

If someone came out with a reasonably priced processor with Dirac, HDMI 2, and Atmos, I'd be very tempted.
Or maybe JRiver and Dirac will support Atmos first.

I can't help with the Mac part of it but for the PC you need a USB cable from the computer to the USB mic. You will also need an HDMI cable (and connector) to output the sound from the computer to the receiver/preamp. That's what I use to make sure I get a digital signal from my computer to the receiver/preamp.
i have an hdmi cable but my computer has no hdmi output, it just has usb on the back.

Does it have that mini hdmi connection? Which Mac are you using? I think most use the PC version here.
