I think the are 26 inch wide... very comfy.. I could have gone 4 seats / row, getting me 8 seats total, but i decided on 'less but more comfy' considering that most of the time, it's just gonna be me or fam watching movies... if more than 6 ppl are watching, prob add some chairs and maybe some bean bags...
It's just the White Balance that camera is trying to figure out that is throwing off the color. Take it off Auto WB and set it manually to incandescent or fluorescent, depending on the majority bulb type in the room.

I think the one on top is close.. none of them are exact. In real life, they seem to fit nicely with my color scheme. (it's actually a type of brown).

One of my friend with a nice SLR camera says when he's back in the country (he works in China), he will help me take some more accurate pics

You're right of course. Just that I am not a wizard with a camera and I am not sure if the camera on my phone allows all those special settings. I'll play around with it.. i just like their 'scene modes' which i think already plays with the white balance.

Too funny guys. We did that at our headphone gtg last night. It was interesting how adamant people were that they were right! I saw blue and black for what it is worth.

Haha, yeah - Jonathan kept saying it was white and gold and that he thought we might just be messing with him.

That set the stage perfectly for the headphone comparison, if we can't even agree on what color is what how can we agree on what headphones are better than others? Even thought we all know the Grados were the best.

Also super rare...there cant be many full wood and stained tripple 8s. Thats a lifetime keeper. Even in the future if wanted light stain could probably have it sanded and re finished...

Do you have a way to tweak the distances of the sub like a minidsp and something to measure with (REW or Omnimic)? If so it would blend just fine once you get the distance right.

I currently use audyssey pro kit to measure and set distance. I do have REW and umik-1 but never use it because i have so much trouble with drivers and REW. If i ever decide to do some more measuring it will be with omnimic or xtz, never again with REW.

What year are those ones? If they are 2011 or later, then it's a great deal!!

Maybe it's just the way he has "3 Original JTR's" in his wording, makes it look like they are pre 2009 era.

Forget it... I did some digging and will void the purchase on grounds of false advertising. Jtr didnt use the ht naming until at least 2nd if not 3rd gen around or after 2011....these are 2008. He is selling them a bit misleading to say the least

I think i had seen this classified before (either on these forums or ebay) and thot they were a good deal.

Those look good, though out of curiosity, what are the differences between those and the newer ones?

Ya, I wouldn't pay that for 2008 versions..... maybe 1K all in...... Then at that price, its possible to do the upgraded xover and drivers to bring them up to current specs.

Looks like Jeff did not start offering custom finishes on his speakers until the end of 2010 (Dec 15th 2010 was the announcement post).
