I still have the big plastic pallet my OS came on. I'm not a hoarder and my wife asks me all the time why I don't get rid of it, which I reply by asking her why she won't get rid of the baby crib? [emoji1]

For ATMOS duties, do you guys have any suggestion as to slim / low mounting depth speakers that would match our JTR ?

I haven't tried that yet. I can still toe in the speaker some more before I need to move the panels so I will use that option when I run out of space. Yesterday, I toed them in so they are almost pointing at the left / right ears of the MLP and they sounded better that way.

It looks like they are limiting your toe in when they are behind the speakers.

Something about baby cribs and cradles that women have some kind of emotional bond to them. When my son was born, my mom gave me my cradle that I used when I was born for my first born. I think it is that kind of stuff they think about and you have to just let them hold on to that stuff. Me, I would throw away everything in my house, but somethings I just tread lightly on.

Yeah, I think it's all about that growing a human being inside you for 9 months and then having 8-12 hours of the most excruciating pain imaginable that leaves a lasting impression on some people. Go figure ...

I am sure no one really cares at this point, but I just had to know and am bedridden w/ not much to do:

10 - 12.5 Hz: XXX Ported
12.5 - 16 Hz: ?
16 - 20 Hz: Gjallarhorn (seems to be down a bit by 25 Hz)
25 - 40 Hz: Othorn-5100
40 + Hz: JTR Orbit Shifter Pro

It's worth trying crossing them a bit in front of the MLP. Seems weird, but sometimes it can widen the sweet spot while maintaining everything else (imaging, quality, etc). This trick works best with horns, where you lose volume off axis, but the FR doesn't change much. Sometimes pointing straight at the MLP will give better imaging, though.

As some of you know, I had originally committed to 210RT's and matching 210RM center, but after discussing things with Jeff and having the sealed Seatons up front we decided on staying sealed.

These beasts are big, heavy, and very well made.

Got back to Louisville and finally wrestled them into the basement theater (thanks dad!). Set things up yesterday and ran Audyssey on Marantz pre/pro. The mains and center were set as full range and the single 8's were set to 150hz (odd?).

Started to listen and I must say that these are incredible. Its obvious that these have great bass punch (not even boosting, yet), but the horn loaded coaxial compression driver sounds silky smooth and I am hearing details wasn't able to hear before. The sound state is magnificent, even in their current (less than optimal) positions. BTW- these can get very loud and at high levels are as sharp as a tack!

Thanks very much for making an outstanding product and going the extra mile. Going to hit Best Buy for a new movie for later.

Pix to follow after I figure out how to resize on a Mac???

I finally have pictures!!! Had to break out the PC, LOL. Sorry for the less than optimal quality, I only have an older iphone camera.

In the Navigator and in the basement theater....

I posted some other pix of our basement and bar area and the entrance to the theater. We just completed it in March. It was a 6 month process. The theater was wired for heights and atmos speakers. I tried to future proof it as much as possible. Thanks for looking! Gonna go fire it up.

when I opened up the first picture it reminded me of a car audio show I went to. You should fire those bad boys up in the car. If you have full coverage that is. . Great shots and congratulations!

Thanks much Sir! Been admiring and listening to yours and others advice. Very much appreciate the compliment!

Even with the monitors on the ground (LOL) it sounds fantastic. Not sure if I am going to place a pedestal or a Submersive underneath the L/R's. If so, I'll move 2 of the F2's to the back corners. Also, going to boost the center channel up as well.

Just having a good time enjoying the sound quality.
