Hi guys,
I am considering getting Polk Audio RTi A5 with Pioneer VSX-1019. I am planning to put a sub and center channel / surrounds as budget allows. On the other side i was also considering Bose Acoustimass 10 system. I wanted to ask you guys if RTi A5 would be a better option to go than Bose with the VSX-1019. I am not sure if VSX-1019 should be to provide enough power to RTi A5. It is rated for 100w/ch.

Any other speaker options would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yes, I would easily take Polk A5 towers over the Bose AM-10. Plus a tower vs satellite comparison isn't even fair, let alone a Bose comparison.

The fact that the AM-10 cost $999 and you can get a pair of Polk A5's for quite a bit less than that makes the comparison even worse. Shoot, you can get Polk A7's for under $600/pr from the Polk Audio store on Ebay.

I wouldn't purchase the RTis without listening to them at best buy or frys first. They are known to be bright especially with music. Take some of you favorite cds or music dvds with you for the audition and don't forget your music at the store.
