Hi, being a total n00b, I bought a pair of Pyle PSTND2 Telescoping PA Speaker Stands for my Mackie MR5 speakers, without realizing that they require my speakers to have sockets to screw in the tripod head.

Now, I'm stuck with these stands that I can't use. It would cost me at least $20 to return them.

A friend of a friend told me that I should look into getting collar(?) plates that can screw into the stands and allow me to place the speakers on them flat. I didn't get a chance to get more info from him before he left, unfortunately. I also haven't had much like googling for information.

Does anyone know where I can find these plates and how much they would cost? Thanks.
