Hi,

I am looking to replace my 5 speakers. I currently own the Yamaha RX-V567 receiver and the Acoustech BIC H-100 front firing subwoofer. Does anyone have a recommendation for 5 speakers? I am not looking to spend more than $300.

Also, since my receiver is 7.1 is it possible to set up speaker 6 and speaker 7 in a separate "zone" so i can put them outside on my patio? I didn't see anything in the manual for this. It's not a necessity but would be nice.

Thanks for your support and forgive me for being a newbie to audio!

Steve

That receiver does not have Zone 2 fuctionality. Sorry.

As far as 5 speakers for $300 that is pretty tough but this might work for you.

Jamo E660 towers $129

Jamo C400 center $$79

Jamo C401 bookshelf speakers $79

That's all under $300 shipped. If you dont want towers you can get the C403 bookshelf instead. Its the big brother to the C401.

The E660 pair is only $10 more though and you dont need to buy speaker stands.
