Here's affordable (under $7K/pair) and killer sound, especially if you want dymamics.

What speakers are those?

One of the guys from my watch forum Donut has the absolute most impressive setup I think that exists in this world. These pictures all belong to him but I've long admired his watch collection and his speaker collection too.

Anyone know what all of this is?

I realize this is an unlimited money question but FOR the money I don't think you can do better than Polk SDA SRS

oh boy, some of the speakers in this thread are outrageous.

I currently have some of the cheapest speakers on the market, yet have the best sounding HT system of anyone I've heard thus far (not saying much to be sure. Others I know with HT don't know what they are doing with them, but almost all of them have more expensive speakers than I do)

I couldn't possibly imagine investing in some of the speakers in this thread ($20,000? LOL Whut?) but with my income going up on a fairly regular basis, I'm going to start looking at higher quality options in speakers in the near future, so maybe I'll try to give some of the thoroughbreds in this thread a listen....if I can find a local showroom that has them.

Stand tall and shake the heavens...

My vote goes for the Magico Q5 speakers. I heard them and they are absolutely amazing.

$60k/pr.

And then theirs, these guys.

If money and size are no object, my vote would be for the $250K flagship MBL speaker system.
