From Procellas Facebook page.

"First look at the new P28 (2016 model), with it's smaller cabinet, better finish quality. Same audio quality, which is basically double the power of the P8! Unleash your inner beast with the new P28!"

This New version of Procella P28 is made by outsourcing some of Procellas production to SEAS in Norway.

http://www.seas.no/index.php?option=...ews&Itemid=194

Maybe all drivers in Procella speakers will be SEAS drivers soon?

At least some of the models have SICA compression drivers. You can see which model if you look closely at some of the P6internal pics found on google. To my knowledge SEAS does not manufacture compression drivers.

Will be posting a classified very soon, but I will be selling on my two brand new in the box P10Si balancing subwoofers. I have 6 other larger subs going into my room and these balancing subs are no longer needed. PM if interested.

Yes, the compression drivers has been SICA for som time now. . .But if SEAS is building the new P28 maybe SEAS has started too build a compression driver after Procellas spec.

Just had Pär Hörnell from TIWIA.se here to calibrate my new P610/DA-05 speakers/amps

I live in an apartment and the room is just 20m2. . but the P610/P15 still kicks in this small room

How do you like the sound? That is some setup for an apartment!

Any idea why the dB starts to drop around 1.5 kHz? Was this an off-axis measurement perhaps? Just curious.

It sounds absolutely great . . The P610 driven by DA-05 is a killer combo

The measurement is done with four mics at different hight and distance simultaneously.

The slight drop above 1,5KHz i belive is the target curve Pär was aming for. . that curve sounded best in my room

Got confirmation that Procella P28 has a SEAS mid driver, so does P6 and later models of P8

The P28, P6 and soon P6V are är assembled by SEAS in Norway

Installed a Procella DA-06 yesterday, which I connected to my P15-FP. Earlier I powered my P15-FP with the DA-05. I loaded the "wall" preset for the P15-FP in the DA-06 and when I set the levels I happened to see how "limiter" is set in my DA-06, it has exactly the same values as the DA-05 has.

V pk = 69
Ohm = 4
Watts = 597
dBu = 36

According to the specs for the DA-06, I think it should be:

V pk = 99
Ohm = 4
Watts = 1197
dBu = 39

I´ve also tried to load a presets for P18-FP, thought that it ought to have the right values if it is so that the limiter is to protect the elements of the P15-FP. But even if I load a P18 preset, I have the same values of the limiter.

Top of it all I somehow overwrote the preset for P18 Baffle

May as well add that the software doed not allow me to change any of this values.

Feels like someone did a misstake a Procella and loaded my DA-06 with DA-05 presets?

Sincerely
Claesson

The C124 and C22 speakers:

Hey all,

I've been an Aperion owner for the past 8 years. I started out with Hybrid 5T 5.1 and upgraded 2 years ago to the Verus Grand system and use dual Rythmik FV15HP subs. I have been very pleased with the system even with no external amplifier and use a Marantz SR-7008 to power it.

My question is, honestly, what would the difference in sound quality be going from the Verus Grands to something like Procella p815? I realize posting this in Procella forum might warrant a little bias feedback but I am wanting honesty. My current home theater in the basement is about 3500 cu ft with the left side completely open to the other side of the basement (another 3000 cu ft area). Because it's in the basement and is not a dedicated home theater room, I can never turn up the system very loud because of rattling and vibrations throughout the rest of the house. In a new house my wife and I are considering building, if I were to have a company professionally construct a home cinema room keeping it around 3500 cu ft and treat it acoustically, (and this might be a really dumb question) how would the Verus Grands paired with an external amp like Emotiva XPA3 perform vs a speaker like Procella p815 for LCR?

Another note, while I currently own only a 5.2, in the new home cinema I would be adding additional speakers essentially making 11.2.4 or 7.2.4.
