Do you guys see a problem with using two CF-30s for left and right channel and a CF-70 as a center?

I know that setup may seem ridiculous but the CF-70 is on sale right now for 200 dollars!

I'd rather have 2 CF-70 towers and a CF-30 center.

the CF-30 is only $129 so why not get a 3rd CF-30 so you have a seamless front stage with 3 of the exact same speaker?

Or buy 3 CF-70's and use your 30's as surrounds.

Thanks for the response. I bought the CF-70 only because the price was right on them.

My CF-30 shipped today so I couldn't cancel my order.

I can only afford one CF-70.

I was going to recommend the same thing as afrogt, why not upgrade your CF-30s to CF-70s and move one of the CF-30s to the center instead. But you already answered him

Let us know how it sounds with the CF-70 in the center.

Something tells me that the CF-70 will kind of drown out the audio coming from the CF-30s...

Will do. I just wanted to know if other people have similar setups. ie: Two weaker L&R and a stronger center.
