A friend of mine has asked me to find him a surround setup and has stated his only firm need is wireless rear speakers. I have no clue where to start to look for a decent pair of wireless satellites and would appreciate any and all feedback. Budget isn't as big of a concern as is quality but a few different suggestions at different ends of the budget spectrum would be welcome.

He doesn't yet have a receiver or even fronts. For whatever illogical reason, he doesn't want to proceed with those until he knows what kind of wireless options he has.

By the way, he has a medium sized room, 24' x 12' with 8' ceilings.

research Rocketfish wireless system.

The Rocketfish receiver connects to a normal speakers. The speaker doesn't need to be wireless because the receiver is.

Wireless is not completely wireless but at least you don't have to run speaker cables from the receiver all the way to the surround speakers.

Curious as to why he isn't during any of this research if he's gonna be so demanding?

I offered to help him out as a return for an earlier favor.

I'll look into the Rocketfish systems, thanks.

I've been trying to tell him that he might just be better off with some in-wall speakers.

Yes In wall front and in ceilings surrounds

His room is way too big for a satellite speaker system
