What does it mean when someone says get some "Real" speakers?
If they take up physical space and make noise are they not real?

Making noise and accurate reproduction are two different things. Get rid of those Sony's you found at the thrift shop and get some real speakers!

First its snobbish but in many cases true. Your bookshelf or floorstanders that are made of crap partical board with cheap drivers in a empty box are crap most always, same with the old White Van speakers. Get a speaker made by a speaker company, not some packaged crap all in one deal.

I never said it was MY speakers that just made "Noise". I was saying the minmal requirents of a speaker! As for the SONY speakers, theres nothing
"wrong" with the sound. I didn't even know that certain sounds in music
were that prominent until I got those speakers. No They wouln't campare to some speakers like the B&W 800 series. Or the Wilson audio Duette.

Speakers are VERY subjective too. There is a lot of expspensive junk out there cough *BOSE* and guess what. People Beleive that they are high end.
Why I do not know, plastic cabinets and narrow sonotube as a folded
horn. That is NOT high end audio. Thats Mid-fi at best, and mid-fi at it's
worse.

Now Bang and Olufsen, at least they do not have the Audacity to stuck a carboard port in something and declare it high end.

Well B&O uses High quality matierials in ther gear thus justifying thier price. and even B&O
Isn't all that expensive when you got stuff like Goldmund of which a complete 5.1 system costs litterally a MILLION Dollars. Thats Redonkulous.

My question is. Do the speakers Come with Playmate of the year? if not
when i become a millionare, I won't be buying goldmund.

I actually have been looking for a pair of those, either that or the SS TL-3 Heard the bass was phenomenal on the SSTL series.

I can now see why others have given you crap in the past. You started one the other day, and my reply (1st) made you beg to delete it.

Do us all a favor? Think about what you're asking first...and then think if it's worth posting. Your track record is terrible, as you ask inane things, almost as if you were a troll. You're either not very bright, or you're just a troll. Based on your posts/threads in my short time being here, I'm going with....both.

Like it or not, there is a class system here. There are owners of $100.00 systems to systems that cost more that the average house. A yugo is a real car but try telling that to someone who drives a BMW. I don't worry weather or not someone likes my setup. I do, and that's what counts.

Of course anyone would rather drive a BMW, yugo's were always unreliable
and fell apart even when new.

Sadly it would end upin the garbage bin, the thrifts around here either toss
BIG speakers, give them to people who ask for them or overprice them.

They had a pair of foam rotted BIC Venturi's that also had blown tweeters for $150.00 once!
