To cut a long story short, im buying a new pair of speakers to use with my turntable. I will also be using a Denon AVR-791.
Due to my location in Australia, availability is limited.

Which speaker is better?
The Polk Audio TSI400's or the Jamo s606's?
The Polk's are $1199 a pair and the Jamo $1499.

Thanks.

Are you sure the speakers listed are that price?? It sound quite expensice for eighter the polks or the Jamos?? Eighter way... speakers are subjective, as they are up to your ears per say for the right sound. ITs hard to say whats better over the other to be honest. I would rather go with the Polks over the Jamos but thats just me.

Yes I understand those prices are expensive, but that's just how much things are over here.
I see the Polk's are $600 a pair in America, but here in Australia they're nearly double that. We get ripped off and that's just the way it is.
Games in America are $60, here $110, and our dollar is currently better.

Anyway, thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards the Polk's.

No problem at all, I was just curious on why the price was that expensive. As mentioned thou, I have herd the Polks as they were pretty good but then again I have not had a chance to listen to the JAMOS eighter so I was bassing it off of what I have heard.

I don't know if newegg ships to Australia, but if they do take a look at these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-206-_-Product
They are almost exactly the same as TSI400 with a slightly different design. They cost much less than the TSI400 as well. Amazon also has these I believe.

Also, check the polk direct ebay store. They are refurbished, but still way cheaper than new Tsi.
