I'm in the process of installing a new system into a house. I'm using a REL R-series sub that uses a Speakon NL-4 connector to pull sound off of the Left +, -, & Right + connectors off the amplifier. I'm using my own cable not the supplied speakon wire (because they used knockoff connectors and my wire is of a higher quality. The issue I'm running into is with the sub connected to the McIntosh (MC-205) it's sending the right channel into power guard then when it's disconnected the amp is fine. I am getting audio out of the sub (when connected). Any ideas?

DETAILS: Speakon is wired Yellow 1+ red 2+ Black 2- at the amplifier: black and red are poles L + , - yellow is R +

Sorry Re-posted this in the subwoofer thread. Not sure how to delete the original post.
