Hi all,
I currently have M-Audio AV40 as my computer speakers (Which by the way is an excellent near field Monitor). I have an opportunity to pick up the KRK RokitG2 5s for under 200$.

Anyone know if they are worth an upgrade over the M-Audio? Should I be looking at KRK Rokit 6s instead?

Thanks

I've heard the Rokit 6s. They are pretty good. Good bass but don't go very loud.

Even the Rokit 5s would definitely be a step up from the M-Audio AV40s. M-Audio BX5A would be comparable to the Rokit 6s.

I've owned a pair of M-Audio BX5A with the M-Audio SBX10 subwoofer and it was a killer computer speaker setup.

Thanks. I agree that these are awesome with their great midrange and stereo imaging. So much better than the popular computer 4.1s. I am actually ok with the lower bass. Looks like I can get a pair for around 175$. so I might just pull the trigger and sell the AV40!

Are these KRK active monitors reliable?

Thanks
