Details-

My dorm room is 130 square feet and my price range is around 200 dollars. I would like something that I can easily plug my iPod into and something that will envelope the whole room with clear, crisp sound. I listen mostly to electro house and trance. Here are some sample videos of the type of music I listen to.
Also since this is my first post I can't put links in my posts, so just obviously replace the "(DOT)" with "."

Bass is important in that it needs to not be overpowering. However, bass is not my primary concern. Clear and immersive, room filling sound are what is important.

Thanks for the help.

Do you have an amp or reciever already or are you looking for powered speakers?

If you are in a larger metro area, check Craiglist. A lot of people are selling good surround receivers because they want newer surround receivers with HDMI for hooking up their large screen TVs. You might pick up a really good deal with just a week or two of closely checking Craiglist. Watch for Denon, Onkyo, Harman Kardon, Sony, and Yamaha. You ought to be able to find something for under $100. Ebay is the same way, although shipping cost on a receiver often adds about $30 the price and would be hassle if there was a problem if you had to send it back.
