Hi there AVS- I have decided to film my 685B's in action. I did use a rather crappy webcam for the video, but we really care about the audio right? The audio was recorded using a Shure PG58 Microphone over ASIO using my BCD3000 as the interface. I hope you guys enjoy, and you can always request songs and once I get the time, I can film your song in action

All audio played was minimum FLAC 16 Bit/192kHz files.

I'm not finding anyone with them for sale for a price you might be interested in (more than 5% off retail)

As cool as this may be, I don't see the point of listening to speakers through other speakers. Sort of defeats the purpose, right? You're definitely not going to hear the actual sound those speakers put out, no matter how high the quality of your speakers are.

For those looking into getting Energy speakers, or upgrading their current Energy setup, here are some reviews I've written that may help:

I guess, I was just irked by all these Bose guys showing their systems off, and even when they use good mics you can hear deficiencies in their audio. I guess I uploaded it so they can hear that even over youtube and mics and other stuff that totally takes away their quality, how good they still sound.

I understand. Just think it's funny sometimes when people post their speakers playing on youtube to show them off. I understand showing them off aesthetically but sound-wise it's funny sometimes.

I do have to admit those are great looking speakers and I wouldn't mind a pair for myself Oh and the demo material was definitely a good choice, I admit this is as close to hearing the real speakers as you'll get on youtube. Listening to the B&W 685Bs THROUGH my Energy RC-50 towers.

Thanks mate I tried to pick a broad arrangement of music that us Audio guys know what to look for, yet people would be drawn in by the song.

Oh and I love Energy speakers- I have the CB-10 Conneiseurs and I LOVE THEM. Personally, they sound very close to the B&W's for almost more than half the price of an equivalent B&W loudspeaker.

Oh my gosh, I feel so embarrassed......... I didn't know YOU were the one that filmed these speakers. Oh crap, I never would have posted any of that, my bad.

Like I mentioned before, you did a great job with the video and song selection. Sorry again (wow I'm a loser )
