Has anyone heard of these? I'm trying to find a review one them. I'm not familar with the company so I was wondering if anyone could let me know. Newegg.com is selling a pair for $200

Haha those are rebranded Jamo speakers. If you want a review on them, search for Jamo 426 floorstander reviews.

Honestly, they're about $180 under the Jamo name and $400 MSRP as Energy speakers. It's just Energy (or their superiors) trying to make money off the Energy name.

For those looking into getting Energy speakers, or upgrading their current Energy setup, here are some reviews I've written that may help:http://www.tempestaudio.blogspot.com  (haven't updated in a while, but include Energy Take Classic 5.1, RC-10, CF-70, and CC-10)

It's the superiors that most likely made that decision. Energy is owned by Klipsch and now Audiovox. They own Jamo too.

Anyway Fry's had the Jamo S426 5.0 package for $150-160 a month or two ago. You can still probably find the packaged system for about $250.

Yep, those Energy EF-500s are really entry level Jamo speakers.

I was pretty sure Energy was owned by Klipsch at some point so thats why I questioned, however im not familiar with Jamo either, but by the looks of it here is nothing special here so ....think ill just wait for the Polk Monitor 70s to go on sale again. Thanks

Jamo is Danish company that is very well known overseas but not here in the usa. They've been around over 40 years. The fact that you've never heard of them is exactly why they are rebadging those s426 speakers as Energy EF-500s...name recognition.

While I am not a big Energy fan - I do not like seeing this.
