Hi Guys,

I am wondering what your opinions are on which home theater speakers system you should get? Kinda hard to listen to these systems in stores.

I've narrowed it down to either the MartinLogan MLT-2 5.1 speaker system or the Energy 5.1 Take Classic system. These two systems based on customer reviews on Amazon and Newegg are excellent. Planning to power them thru the Pioneer VSX-1121 A/V receiver. I will be using them for both movies and music. Any replies or suggestions will be appreciated.

I have the Pioneer 1121 and the MLT-2. Got it both on/around black Friday for great prices.
Have been using them for last month and loving them.

1121k is great for the price and can compare in audio quality to under $600 AVR. Although the best feature of the 1121k is the internet radio and the air play. I like this although standby pass through does not work.

MLT-2 5.1 set is excellent as well. It blew my 5 year old HTIB out of the park but that was expected. I cannot really compare it to anything else but I do not think you can find a better sounding 5.1 sats under $600.
