I want a system for 2 channel music via a turntable. I have a chance to get a pair of monster Polk SDA-SRS2 speakers. Will a Yamaha RXV-1400 receiver provide enough power for these speakers? I will bi-amp them. They will be the only speakers used on this receiver. I think these speakers would be good for 2 channel listening. Thanks guys.

It should be fine. Your Yamaha is supposed to be able to drive a 4 ohm speaker and that is what the Polks are.
