I would like some help in differentiating between these two very different designs. Obviously the STs are a floorstander and the M7s are monitors.

What could I expect as far as differences in the sound? I'm interested in the overall dynamics / clarity / transparency / imaging / soundstage of these two models.

My only use of these would be as a two channel music system.

Well I have never directly compared these two speakers. The only advice I can give is to try and find someone local to you that hasthe songtowers and is willing to demo for you.

This thread had some info on the M7's vs. the RAAL found in the Sierra Tower. It might give you some idea or you could always ask the participants directly involved in this GTG...who have.
