www.high-end-electronics.com.

It is kind of after the fact because i have already put an order in for a set of Yamaha ns-333 and a Yamaha ns-c444 for an incredible discount compared to everywhere else.

Does anyone have any experience with this site?

thanks.

looks sketchy to me. I would keep an eye on that credit card. Remember, there is probably a reason they are selling at deep discounts.

Crap. Well the card has already been charged and I spoke to customer service who said that I should be getting the UPS tracking number by end of the day... part of me wants to wait to see that and if i don't get it will see if i can cancel the order... i wouldn't mind refurbs just not some cheap knockoff...will keep you updated...

If they aren't legit, trying to cancel your order will probably be futile anyway.

This explains the prices:
high-end-electronics.com is not an authorized dealer for any of the product(s) offered.

That means they're grey market goods with no warranty. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

I only see 8 products on their site, to me that screams that they "fell" off of a truck...

In the future obviously stay away from sites like that. But hopefully you still get your product.

They only have 8 products on their homepage. If you do a search, you'll see they have a lot more.

They seem to carry many outdated products. They're probably a liquidator for some wholesalers who want to clear old stuff.

My hunch is they're legit. If they're a scam, they'll charge right away and not ship for several weeks. Most credit card companies won't credit them for 30 days or more, so if they ship today, you'll have time to see what arrives and can likely easily dispute the charges.

Well the UPS tracking numbers have come in and delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Will let you all know how the product is. I am getting a pair of Yamaha NS-333 bookshelf speakers and a Yamaha NS-C444 center channel for $280 including shipping. If everything ends up being legit (fingers crossed) it will be a pretty good deal me thinks!

Definitely looks fishy as it has the same contact info and site layout as www.elistinka.com - which was discussed here http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1273561 a couple of years ago...that site had an ebay set up as well but i can't find it anymore...

Good call, I didn't see any real menu in the side bar like most e-tailers have so I assumed that the homepage was it.

Looking through some of their products, I don't even think some of their prices are all that great compared to other, more reputable sites. Good deal that you got your speakers though!

Of course, I got it modified with the TK-427, which cheeks it up another, maybe, 3 or 4 quads per channel.
