Budget----------------$ 500
Room -----------------16x13x8h
Sub---------------------lilmikes DIY F-20
Avr -------------------- denon 2312
Use---------------------99.9% movie watching

I have behringer 2030p for L & R and can just add a third for the C for $107 shipped however if I can upgrade for $500 then I will move my current L R to the rear.

Your opinions are welcomed even if it is to just shut up and buy another Behringer 2030p for the C

Look at the Infinity Primus
The 162 or 163 and the 350
http://www.crutchfield.com/shopsearc...ty_primus.html

Look at HTD
Level Three bookshelf and Level Three center.
http://www.htd.com/Products/level-three-speakers

Try them out for a 30 day trial period - if you do not like them
then send them back - and buy another Behringer.

If you can build boxes DIY is again, the best choice for your money. The Stentorians designed by Curt Cambell (designer of "The Statements") would be a great match for your subs. Buy 3 sets from the partsexpress link above, then use the modified cabinet for the center below.

I'm not opposed to building boxes but soldering crossover wires is not something am confident about. With my budget I will keep DIY in mind though.

HTD level 3 package- I called and am told with shipping and military discount it come to about $545. I could do that and their 30 day money back policy is reassuring.

Any other ideas?

The EMP E5Ti and E5Ci are on sale and would run about $450. There is a great review at Audioholics and they seem to be well liked speakers, not to mention they look very nice.

Living Room
Samsung PN60F5300 | Denon DBP-1611 | Roku 3
Denon AVR-1713 | EMP E55Ti | EMP E56Ci | EMP E5Bi | BIC F-12

By the time this thread reasons 20 or so pages you should have at least saved up enough to buy another Behringer B2030P matching is how its done unless you really want to chase your tail around with mismatching. I’ve used matching LCR for over 20 years and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Perhaps I'm not being clear. I want to replace ALL of my front stage. Left right and center with matching speakers OR buy a third behringer . One more Behringer is only $107 shipped. If I can't beat the performance of three behringers with $500 then I won't spend the extra money.

Those Empteks surprisingly have a pretty good frequency response (attached), but one thing to note is that 5.5" mid is crossed over at 120hz according to Emptek. That makes them dynamically speaking, barely better then a 5.5" mini-monitor...

Like I said before, if you want something that can keep up with your sub the Stentorians are a great choice. www.madisound.com can assemble a crossover for you, and sell you everything else.

Are you also looking around eBay at the same time, for good affordable buy it now, preferably in working order as some owners look like they lead the speakers around on leash tired to the back end of car. Get the best of best within your budget range to knock your socks off.
