Let me first start by saying I am going to have to purchase everything from newegg as I have a card with them and can take advantage of their financing. That being said, if someone were to suggest a website to me where I would save money and get an "upgraded"setup then I would consider it but will mostly be looking at newegg.

The current options I have considered:
The VSX-1121- I like that its 400 right now after the promo and is THX certified so that I could eventually take advantage of that if I ever decide to replace the speakers down the road.

Polk RM6750 with one pair of Monitor40 Series II for the fronts

Total would be roughly 750

OR....

Same receiver with

Polk CS1 Series II center channel
Polk RM 7 Satellite B (x 4)
Polk PSW10 Sub
Polk Monitor 40 Series II

Total would be roughly 840

Again I am open to other options, mostly on newegg though.

Not a large living room at all, off the top of my head I do not even think its 20 x 15.

Polk PSW10 is not a good choice for a sub for an HT setup. Consider that a sub is both an amplifier and a speaker, and you'll realize how little of each you will getting there for $100. Most people on the AVS subwoofer forum tend to recommend the BIC F12 as the lowest priced entry level sub.

Polk psw 505 is another highly recommended entry level sub if you want to keep it in the family...

Newegg also has the Energy CF-70 on sale right now at $229 and the Polk PSW-505 at $179.

Great start to enter into this addiction.

The PSW505 is back on sale? That is a great price for that sub.

You want your front L/R to match your center. You also do not need 7.1, that is only needed for theater seating type situations. You're also putting way too much of your budget into the receiver (half), even if it's a good deal, and your sub selection is inadequate for your room size. Unlike other people in this thread, I understand you're only considering Newegg because of financing. Here's setup to consider

Pioneer VSX921 $250

Pioneer SP-FS51-LR Floorstanding Speakers $150

Pioneer SP-C21 Center Channel Speaker $80

Pioneer SP-BS21-LR Bookshelf Loudspeakers $70 (if you really want you can add another pair later for 7.1)

Energy S10.3 $200. The Polk PSW505 is out of stock, leaving this Energy as the best sub deal at Newegg. I recommend buying a pair of these subs if you can swing the price difference.

$750 with one sub $950 with 2.

I guess I didnt get to see this in time and now the center channel is out of stock. So far it appears everyone likes you recommendation, do you have a second choice or backup recommendation since that center channel isnt available? Maybe just get it without it for now and find it elsewhere since it is one single piece missing and the rest is available?

Thanks guys for the help, especially to Jay1 for keeping it on the newegg site. I picked up the center channel from QVC for about 50 shipped too thanks to zieglj01.
