What I mean is, quality audio is an addiction.

We all have our "main" set up, but as I have noticed, once you hear a quality system, all others lack. So you end up rasing the bar on,all your audio set ups..

I for example listen to my music at work on...

which is a set up consisting of a pair of swan 200mkiii's that I connect with my ipod, or cell phone..

when in my garage working on new speakers, or whatever project I have going on I listen to..

which is an old pair of dcm kx12's, powered by an alesis ra150 power amp, with the low end backed up by a samson resolve 120a sub..

when on the go I throw in my ue triple Fi headphones..

what are your guys "other" systems?

My first DIY project. A dual, dual opposed setup

Classic-this inspires me to integrate an unused sub into my crappy garage setup . Are those "wooden" woods in that old Ping bag?

Sorry about that...

The Swans in your garage are nicer than my Swan 1080s connected to my iMac 24 in my office .

In my previous place in the city I had in my garage workshop a Carver C-1 preamp with two Carver M500t amps driving Carver Amazing Speakers (couldn't even fit those speakers in my living space, too damn big).

Later on something happened to the speakers...let's just say they're retired.

Now in my current place in the woods in my bar I have that same Carver C-1 with a Carver M500 (the 500t's are on a different duty in the main system) with my old Technics SL1200 turntable hooked up to a pair of Cambridge S30s and an Infinity SSW10 sub. Sounds great!

My bedroom ain't so bad either...but not as interesting.

My living room system consists of my previous HT AVR (Integra DTR 6.4), a Marantz DV6400 SACD/DVD-A player, an airport express to stream iTunes and a pair of PSB Imagine B stand mounts.

Replaced a pair of self powered near field monitors which have returned to the computer desk duty for which they were designed.

My "other" system is in my living room. My wife really wants no part of anything stereo/HT, but I had to have something set up for my self.

GR Research Diluceo's powered by a *gasp* Pyle PTAU45 that's tucked away in the TV stand. I took a risk buying something made by pyle, but it has performed surprisingly well powering my 4 ohm speakers to satisfying levels.

Some of the Pyle receivers (mine) all have cooling fans...which are pretty loud and make listening to anything at low volume impossible. But other than that, they are fine

The speakers, well could have been made by "Ronco" in the 70s...
