I think the IMAGINE series looks really great, but they are not imported to South Africa (except the minis). They are probably a little pricey too.

Based on that I called lots of different retailers and finally found some with demo T6's that I could audition.

You can make your own jumpers with a short bit of speaker wire to join up the other posts.

But the Q and R series are supposed to sound very accurate and different than the old KEF. They are the "revolutionary" new direction of KEF. Haven't heard one but will audition when I get the chance...

I haven't heard those. Very happy with the PSB T6's so far!

PSB's website has a quote on the T6 page something along the lines of "a great pair of speakers for $1199." However, the crutchfield.com lists them at 650 a peice:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_760IMGT...85#details-tab

I'm looking to purchase the T6 towers; how much did you pay for them?

I'm in South Africa. Paid R10 000, so just over $1199

Sorry to dig up an old thread as my first post, but I'm about to pull the trigger on a PSB setup with the T6 towers and was wondering how the OP liked them after 7 months?

I'm still really enjoying them.

I've never really been able to push them as my living area is still 4mx5m (in an apartment)

looking forward to moving into a bigger place!

Dylan,

Did you audition to anything other then the PSB speakers? What made you decide to go with PSB?

i listened to many other brands, kef, MA, b&w etc
there was rather limited availability at stockists in Cape Town - my choice was based largely on reviews, forums etc

also - I've always been a bit of a NAD fan, seeing as psb's are paired with / manufactured alongside nad i thought they would be a good match...

my psb's sound great with an older nad stereo integrated amp. normally use them with my receiver though as i need its features
