I've searched but haven't seen much info on these speakers. I have found a guy selling a Boston Acoustics 7.1 speaker set up from the mid 90's for $250. This was the thx certified set up. He has 3- 575x fronts, 2 555x sides, 2 cr4 for rear and the 595x sub. This was a $2000+ set up 15 years ago.

I was planning on spending around $1500 for a decent new or higher end used speaker set up.

Question is, how much am I losing if I buy these? How good is this older speaker system potentially? Will these be enough to fill an 18x21' room?

He's well out of my area so I haven't seen or heard them yet. If these speakers are still a good speaker by todays standard it could be a heck of a buy and let me spend more money elsewhere in the room I'm building.

Here's what he's got.
