Depending on what you have. Some of them are really good.
Which one did you get? The pics are kinda blurry and I can't recognize the speakers.

I'm not a huge fan of the design, because they can only really play up to 120hz or so. For a 2 channel system this is fine, but for one using a sub crossed at 80hz it's not really worth the added cost and design complexity IMO.

Perfect example would be the NHT Classic 3, which normally goes for $800 pr. This is a 3-way monitor with a 3/4" tweet, 2" mid, and 6.5" woofer. Then you have the NHT 4 Tower for $2000 pr, where the only difference is 10" side firing woofer crossed at 125hz in a large tower configuration. To me that's not worth $1200, not when I'm running dual 15" subs taking over at 80hz. If this woofer was front firing, and crossed around 300 hz then there would be benefits like greatly improved mid bass impact, and lower distortion.

All that matter's that you like the way the speaker. Enjoy them.

As for myself, I'm not totally convinced of RGDigital being a reputable store and selling good speakers. I don't know if I want to buy speakers from a store that also sells Emergency Jump Starters, portable cooler, door phones .....

Congratulations! You must be really enjoying the impressive sound coming from those rare speakers. BTW, did you ever find out what is wrong with your left channel?

The D10F look like they'd be a good pair and they have side firing lows.

I've heard plenty of Definitive Technology speakers and I think they sound pretty damn good for the money. Even still, I just always have the notion in the back of my head that a sub-woofer should be separate, in it's own enclosure. tongue.gif

Of course, I got it modified with the TK-427, which cheeks it up another, maybe, 3 or 4 quads per channel.

I also think they sound very good.

I don't mind the built in subs, but I would prefer them to be passive - IOW, you would have to bi-amp the speaker - 1 amp for tweeter/midrange & 1 amp for the passive built-in sub. biggrin.gif
