Of the Pioneer book shelf choices I would go with the SP-BS41-LR. They're great speakers for the price. I would stay away from the Polk PSW10. The Pioneer SW-8 is ok but it only extends down to 38 Hz and that's important if you want to watch movies. The SW-8 is probably fine for most music (except maybe house, dub-step, or organ music). Some better budget subwoofer options are the Bic F12, Polk PSW505, or the Energy S10.3. The Energy is out of your budget at $255 right now but it might be worth saving up just a bit more. You really can't skimp too much on the subwoofer.
