hi i have a pair of energy vs surrounds and i was wondering if i could use them with a pair of mirage omd 15 and a mirage omdc1 center channel. would it sound good or should i get the omd 5 surrounds. room size 12 by 22 8 ft cielings

No reason why you shouldn't. Surrounds dont need to be the perfect match for the front 3.

and since you already have the speakers in your possession, why not try it. You've got nothing to lose.

also if i want to use hieght speakers to go with the mirage omd 15 and omdc1 can i use the pair of energy cb 5 that i already have as front hieghts. or maybe someother speaker.

Why don't you try the CB-5 and see how it works out?

You can pretty much answer your own questions since you already have the speakers.
