I heard some jvc speakers the other day like that, but it sounded to bright. with all the tweeters and everything will most speakers like that be that bright?
What do you think about the old style grills that you have to take the screws off? do you all think that most speakers like this are much better then today's speakers?

I have a friend that's into vintage audio and I just heard his Snell A-II's (early 80's) powered by a Sansui BA-5000 (built like a Mac amp in size, power and design) and this rig can compete w/any modern design. The speaker has 10"woofers and can really give a big bottom end. The design is dated but audio wise it can compete w/many of todays high end speakers. They only cost him $700.smile.gif
