Hello,

I am thinking of putting in ceiling speakers either in kitchen or bathroom, mainly for radio use by wife, but would all depend on price. it's always a good thing to have these speakers but if the system would cost more than 100$ each, we won't instal them - a small portable radio would do the job!
Any recommendations on how to setup this?

A friend of mine told me to find cheap ceiling speakers, and just connect them to a car radio, for a cheap solution... Any better solutions

We use the Polk T15 hidden in the kitchen/bath cabinets.
Also kids room and garage.

You can listen to them at BB we feel they are a good little speaker...

When you mean hidden, you have to open the cabinets? Are these waterproof?

And these are connected then to an amp, or they are ok themselves? And then you connect at the place were these are to an mp3 player?

I guess you could open the cabinets but they are for background music. They are not water proof.

You could hook them to an Amp and use zone2 but ours are hard wired to a control4 speaker point.

My front porch and back deck are wired to an Amp using zone2 works great.
Hope this helps.

ok thanks, but are there any solutions for having separate control for example in bathroom? Or at least have the conrtol outside the bathroom, for speakers in the bathroom?

You could hook them to an Amp and use zone2 but ours are hard wired to a control4 speaker point. these can be in a separate room and put speakers in Bathroom.

We use iPad, iPhone or laptop... Our remote can also control all 11 zones.
