Whats that about? Is there like one prop supplier that has a pair of white meridian speakers that they plop in just about every living room?

My guess is that the same speakers just make the rounds.

It's called Product Placement. If you can see a name or logo that makes the product identifiable the manufacturer paid to get it on the screen.

I always love seeing a movie about a young "struggling" person trying to survive in a 2,000 square foot "loft" in New York City with Meridian speakers and McIntosh gear and they're working as a waiter/waitress. rolleyes.gif

Meridian has worked with the Holywood Studios for some time:

It also doesn't hurt that Meridian is the developer of MLP Lossless compression which is the mathematical basis for Dolby® TrueHD on Blu-ray.
