The only ones I know of are Audio Quest rolleyes.gif and Blue Jeans but they only offer 10 and 12 gauge. I would like some quality but budget friendly 99.9% or more pure copper <14gauge wire with quality (sonicaly welded or cold welded or what have you) Pre-terminated banana plugs.

If there isn't anything I might just give up and get Type-4. I'm sick of the wires coming apart, I can't even strip an end without losing some copper the strands or so tiny in hardware store stuff, but then you look online and its all Audio Quest $150 for 6' of cable crazyness.

Why do you need it pre-terminated? Monoprice screw on bananas or the Sewell ones work pretty well. I've used the Monoproce ones and they worked fine.

This is what I use.

I use 12AWG wire. The reason, I don't have to think about the length of the run and what gauge do I need.

Order some 99.9%, oxygen free 12AWG and a set of the Sewell Banana plugs with some of these wire pants and you're good to go.

The banana plugs hold the wire in place with a pair of opposing screws. And with wire strippers and a bit of practice, you'll be cleanly stripping wire in no time. The whole works gives you plenty of what you're wanting. You do have to spend some money but now you have freedom from expensive manufactures and that's a good thing.

I have tried different bananas.

this is what i prefer the speaker end.
http://www.amazon.com/GLS-Audio-Banana-Plugs-Heavy/dp/B000ROLMGU/ref=sr_1_48?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1347259383&sr=1-48&keywords=banana+plugs

problem with this is it is hand screw type. Not very efficient. It becomes loose quite often.

these are really good. Double screws. They never come off. The only cut through the copper strands after a long while.

this is the best. Good old solder types!
rip em off to make em come off!!!

maybe you can find a better solder type banana. I havent tried these yet.

A word to the wise on double spaced banana plugs. Marantz changed it's spacing. L to R, the spacing is fine but they didn't fit the top-to-bottom spacing of the new Marantz, SR5007.

The point, center-to-center, these are .75". Check the spacing on the back of the AVR being used before putting the order in. I found out the hard way. I was installing a replacement AVR and due to this change, the ends of the speaker wires, that worked perfectly fine on the old Marantz unit, didn't fit the speaker wire connections on the replacement AVR. Side-to-side, the .75 inch spaced plug tips would work fine but would not fit the top-to-bottom spacing of the connector lugs. So FYI, I'm just sharing a consumer warning, based on personal experience with these double spaced banana plugs and the backs of Marantz AVR's, check the spacing measurements before putting the order in.

Carry on.
