but...all things considered...was any price worth it?

I purchased a pair of MartinLogan Motion10's today for $200 (for the pair, new in box). They will be used as additional audition speakers in my studio. I felt that $200 was decent...but am second guessing my decision. I wanted (needed?...) a pair of CE speakers for comparison. There are so many options though...I wonder if I made a wise purchase, minimal though it was. My ears have become somewhat compromised and am seeking some additional opinions. My mixing room is well treated and I generally use Adam A7's. I have a pair of B&W PM1's and a set of CM9's...(I may be a B&W whore...) for comparison. But I thought it would be good to hear my mixes on lower end...yet still not total crap. In the world of consumer and ht speakers...I desire some assurance. I wonder, though, if this was a very versatile purchase considering a ribbon style tweeter (and my bias towards such sound...I LOVE my A7's...)? I could have gone for Polk Audio RTi's...but I have a bad Deftech taste in my mouth...undeserved sickliness? Given minimal opportunities to hear these speakers...what would you have done?...
