I have a 600sq room looking 660% music 40% movies. I am looking at the below, feedback would help. Looking at running 4 floor speakers, 2 fronts, 2 rear, a center and a SVS sub, a decent receiver and a emotive amp.

1) PSB GT1

2) Bic America DV84's

3) Dali zensor 7

5) KEF Q900

6) Klipsch Reference Series RF-82

7) E55Ti Tower Speakers

8) Polk RTIA9

Curious as to what is your budget? Reason I ask is that comparing the KEF Q900 to the Bic DV's is like comparing Apples and Unicorns.

Since the bulk of your listening is music the KEF Q900s could be a good fit. Will you have the opportunity to listen to any of the options in your list?

Not sure what your Best Buy carries but I doubt they have much of what's in your list except for maybe the Klipsch RF-82s. Any other audio shops in your area? Also, you can audition speakers from internet retailers and return them (30-day policy generally) but there is often a restocking fee.

So, what is your budget? What do they offer at your Best Buy? Unless it has a Magnolia section it probably doesn't carry the pricier stuff.

I would still try to narrow down that list to 2 or 3 - and go from there.
