Well if you don't know the 800 line then you don't know much about speakers. its a well known line for decades.

On the center, this shows the small one 30lbs, middle one 70lbs and the old big one at 205lbs.

Not many people would consider a 205lbs center small smile.gif

Daniel.

If so I don't think going from a 600 watt amp to a 1000 watt amp would really be noticeable. Doubling the power gets you only an extra 3db and you wouldn't even be doing that. Obviously selling your two M600's would more than pay for 3 XPR-1's so that's one positive but I can't imagine them being an improvement, just more of a lateral move.

Agreed, the idea is to cash in some money :) So I can continue my speakers addiction :)

Aside from your tweeter issue, hopefully successfully resolved, are you happy with the Emotiva amps driving the 800's?

I am considering the same thing and being derided for it.  What has been your experience?  Thank you.

After the worst experience I had with Emotiva I am glad I never replaced my CA-600 for Emitiva!

They are junk IMHO
