I have a pair of Salk SongSurronds coming and need some stands for them. I've searched here and done a good bit of research elsewhere but would still like to see some more pictures of what members are using. With speakers, without speakers, whatever. Links. I like links too.
I'm looking for stands 29" - 36" but want to see as much variety as possible.
A brief (or long) description of the speakers and stands would also be appreciated i.e. size/weight, special options of speaker and stands.
Also, have you found anything that should be included or avoided when considering stands? Any other tips for shopping stands?
I'm obsessing on speaker stands right now so anything and everything would be very much appreciated. smile.gif

TIA

I recently purchased a pair of stands made by VTI and am very happy with them. They feel substantial (steel construction with cast iron base), are very stable, and look great.

This is the model I purchased:

I'm using them with a pair of Soundfield Audio Monitor 1 speakers which weigh about 40lbs each.

BTW, Wayfair's customer service is excellent.

If you like, when I get home I can post a picture of mine.

Had mine made by a very talented friend in Indiana who does customized ironwork pieces. I gave him the specs and he created it. He's now creating speaker stands and A/V stands for customers.

I came across these a few months ago and thought they looked really cool, but they may not be tall enough for you.
