I would also need the room for it as well.

This guy has the right idea!!

+1

After that it would be the KEF Blade, followed by the Revel Salon 2

Receiver: Marantz SR6004
Speakers: Philharmonic 2; TagMclaren Calliope; Pioneer BS-22

I love my Klipschorns, but would like to someday hear what all the fuss is about with the Jubilee. I'm thinking the 402 Jubilee horn on top of my Klipschorn bass bins. The problem are looks, since the 402 dwarfs the Klipschorn!

My dream speaker is the engine in the Ferrari 458 cool.gif

More traditionally as a Focal ho, I'd take a pair of Grand Utopia EM's. And a room large enough to use them properly

The Ferrari may be cheaper.

Love your setup. The klipschorns are the most accurate sounding loudspeakers ever built for home. And the corner placement makes the bass act like a speaker 8 times its size.

By cinema, I meant commercial movie theatre. The HPS-545-4 was developed to equal the sound of Klipschorn without the need for corner placement. They sound incredibly lifelike and clean.

I am a simple man I guess with simple dreams. My dreams come in stages or levels.

stage One: PSB Synchrony

stage two: Aerial Acoustics 7T

stage three: Sony SS-AR1 or Revel Ultima 2 (tough one)

Stage four: wide open

My dream is to build a new house to properly set up my dream speakers. One pair of Klipschorns in their corners and at the opposite end of the room, a pair of Magnepan 20.7s. Power would come from Mark Levinson, Cary, and Harman Kardon. Reasonable and not too over the top.cool.gif

The TAD is very nice but the look is not that beautiful compare to the others in same price range . But they sound super .. I auditioned them side by side with the Sonus faber Stravadari and they won in term of sound

I'm very much stricken by the JBL1400 Array currently. They seem cheap for dream speakers though. Maybe I should step it up a notch!

It think it depends on where we are talking about Fantasy speakers or realistic speakers. Anything goes in a Fantasy, but even if you have big time Win the Lottery money, you need to exercise some restraint. You can't really have $250,000 speakers unless you have a $1 Million room to put them in.

For my Win the Lottery system, I think the Focal 1038BE plus the Luxman 505UX amp. (~$12,500/pr + ~$4,500 each = $17,000/set). I figure I would have to buy a pretty nice house, and then build an addition Music Room to accommodate the system. Plus stands, plus CD, plus BluRay, plus TV, plus Turntable, plus wire and other accessories, for a best guess total of about $25,000. Though do keep in mind, I would have a system in every bedroom and my home office, plus a separate Home Cinema room (best guess, about $30,000 for home cinema equipment.)

http://www.audioaffair.co.uk/Focal-Electra-II-1038-Be-Speakers-Pair/product_3856

(£7599/pr = ~US$12,000)

I think even with Win the Lottery money, I would be satisfied with that system.

Though, I have to say, the TAD speaker referenced by Monkish54 are pretty sweet speakers.

http://tad-labs.com/en/consumer/reference_one/products.html

I cringe at the anticipated price though. Does anybody know the suggest price of the TAD floorstanding? (~US$78,000/pr?)
