I am looking to upgrade my surround speakers and have my eye on the S-20. They can be had for around $475/pair. I currently have the F-30s, and the C-20 center channel, so the S-20 would complete the set.

I've also come across a pair of S-3 surrounds, which can be had for around $150. Considering my current setup, can anyone comment on the differences between the two and/or perhaps recommend one or the other? I realize that the S-3s are older, but I'm not sure as to how they stack up against the S-20s? The internet doesn't have much information comparing the two.

If anyone has experience with either/both please let me know. Basically the S-3 vs the S-20. Thanks in advance!!

I have the F-30 7.1 system and it sounds great. We listen to music about 50~75% music, the rest movies.
