Recently purchased a Yamaha HTR-5730 receiver with no speakers. I want to know what i should be looking for brand name, watts, or size? i have a really small room 9x9. but i do want it to sound good and loud. i purchased the receiver for $27 in a swap meet. thinking of getting the speakers there too. saw some yamaha front speakers and center for $20 but wasnt sure if i should get them, wanted to do some research first and ask people with experience and knowledge. thanks in advance.

How much do you want to spend? Really hard to recommend a speaker without some type of budget...but you won't get decent speakers for 27 dollars, unless you go back to the swap meet!

Set up #1: EMP e5ti, e5Ci, and SLS Q line Audio surrounds, EMP 10i10i sub
Set up #2: Def Tech SM450, CLR2002, SLS Qline surrounds and Klipsch 12wD sub
Set up #3: JBL130, JBL120C and Klipsch synergy sub

well i wanted to keep the budget under a $100. swapmeet is where im looking to get all my stuff, maybe craigslist. the speakers i would be looking at would obviously be used so is there anything specifically i should be looking for, rips, watts, is bigger better? i really want to keep it low cost for my first build and learn from it.
