Guys,

I am planning to get Jamo S426 package. Will make an order soon.
As many of you know, these are 6 ohm speakers.

I am looking for a sub for this.
Jamo Sub 210 will be better combination. This is a smaller sub.

I am also looking at bigger subs like Polk or other brands.
But most of the subs are 8 ohms.

Would there be an issue if I combine 6 ohm speakers with 8 ohm sub.

My receiver has 6ohm option at 125W per channel. It is a Pioneer VSK-821K.

But can I set 5 speakers to 6 ohm and sub to 8ohm. Not sure if that is possible.

Most subwoofers are active powered. They have their own amplifier so it doesn't matter what the ohm rating is on the subwoofers driver because the AVR doesn't power the sub.
