I'm wondering if a reference center can be used with KF series fronts. Also would an Icon series center work with the KF series fronts.

Projector: Benq W1070 1080p 2D/3D
AVR: Denon X2200W
Mains: Klipsch RF-62ii x 2
Center: Klipsch RC-62ii
Surrounds: Klipsch RS-42ii x 4
Subs: Dual Hsu VTF-15H's

They are all voiced (sound quality/timbre), a little different. Why do you want to mix them?

I'm really wondering which center channel to get that will go with the KF-30's. The C20? Seems a little extreme for $300.00 and it's not attractive speaker. I'm thinking the reference series is the Klipsch flagship and i see a rc-42 for about $250. I'd assume the rc-42 would be a better speaker than the C20. In another place I see the KC-25 for about $250 which is part of the Icon series and it's priced as much as the reference speaker.

The prices just don't seem right to me.

The Klipsch KC-25, is the center that has been voiced to timbre match
your tower speakers

Your option and your call.

As far as prices that do not seem right - That is the way the Audio World
tends to turn.
