So far I have purchased a Sharp 70le640u and a Yamaha R-XV671. I cant decide between the Andrew Jones Pioneer SP-FS52 set up or going with the Polk Monitor 60 series II that is on sale on Newegg.com today. Also is the Yamaha a better receiver than Pioneer 1022? I bought it for $299 as Amazon DOD. But the 1022 is $249 on newegg today as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

unless you need Airplay I'd rather have the Yamaha.

As far as the Andrew Jones Pioneers vs Polk Monitor 60, go to your local Best Buy and listen to both. The Monitor 60 equivalent is the Tsi400. Usually BB has the Polks and Pioneers right next to each other.

The Polks will be louder due to higher sensitivity but they don't necessarily sound better.

Im thinking about going with the Pioneer pk52 fronts and c22 center. Then a Polk PSW10 sub and Im not sure about the rears. Thats good to know about the airplay. I have an apple tv and I beleive I will stick with the Yamaha I have read some positive things about it.

If you already have Apple TV then you don't need Airplay.

Polk PSW-10 sucks. No guts.

Either one of these would be better than the Polk PSW-10 for about the same price.

Now if you're ready to spend $200 for a sub then get the Bic F12 or Polk PSW-505.

I think I will swap for the Polk 505. I ended up going with Pioneer SP-FS52 speakers. I was wondering seeing my receiver is 7.1 what would you suggest for the two mid speakers? Thanks again for all the info!
