Looking to pick up a set of speakers for my secondary setup thinking between these two.
Futureshop has the Klipsch RF82 Buy one get one free making the pair 500.
Visions has the Mirage Omni350B
Which is the better deal?
I dont know much about the mirage omni350B but have read good reviews for the RF82s as HT speakers and say they are bright but its subjective. Is futureshop a reliable online store to shop from? Will they ship to the US? These are the older reference IV models the new ones are RF82II.
Yes there reliable, they are bestbuys sister company here in Canada, Bestbuy bought them out a few years back. And i'm not to sure if they ship to the USA i'd assume if you called them they would just placed the order for the RF82s
Jump on it! If you don't think they are worth it utilize the 30 day return policy. I just ordered them to try and the RC-62 centre for $299, so that's a pair of RF-82's and RC-62 for $900 including tax and delivery to my door.
peakers#post_22620772"]Nice! They dont ship to the US so I'm out of luck! Anyone know of similar deals available in the US?[/quote]
I'm surprised BB does not have a similair deal for you guys, do they carry the RF line?
Future Shop definitely does not ship outside of Canada.
Newegg doesnt really carry the reference line - only have the RW-12D sub. There are no similar deals in the US for these speakers. this deal beats anything on ebay and amazon.
I just placed the exact same order. Hopefully they don't take too long to ship
Did anybody find more info on the mirage omni350? I listened to a pair today and really loved the sound. and their price is fantastic ($700 for the pair)
I have also listened to the Klipsch RF82 and found the horn tweeter is just too sharp for my ears.
So after doing some research... It seems these speakers were made in 2008 and cost around $800. Since then it seem they have been discontinued and sold off for cheap.
I assume the place I went to today bought them for super cheap and just put them on display for their original price back in 2008.
Damn I really like their sound.
