Hi guys, i bought kef q300 speakers from ebay recently, and im just suspicious about this speaker. I bought it for 500 dollars which is 150 dollars cheaper than any sellers so i checked the corners or fingerprints just to be sure everthing is factory sealed condition like the seller said. Everything looks good except one thing. Theres is subwoofer hole on the speaker and when i checked inside with flashlight there is some kind of foam inside and i dont think this should be here. Can you tell me what this is? I cant even connect my speaker to amp or dac because its arriving next week. Thank you.

It actually looks like an optical illusion. Like the baffle is taking a 90 degree turn.

Please disregard my rubber foot comment, when I looked at the port it looked like there was something inside. I wasn't seeing it properly. I now see what you are referring to.

It's damping. Perfectly normal, though it's not blocking a subwoofer, it's blocking the port duct.
