Plugs are nice if you plan on moving things around frequently and a bit easier to deal with on the back of you AVR. For the best and least expensive speaker connection just use the bare wire tightly twisted and then "bound" to the various posts with the provided screw down. Care that no stray strands escape and that polarity is consistent is all you really need with 16-14 gauge wire on this set up, The spooled wire from mono-price or the GE stuff on the Home Depot shelf will all sound awesome. The one exception is the sub, you need a single RCA connections on both ends, the above link is perfect. You should be very happy with this system, let us know how you like when its all setup.
