I'm trying to decide between getting large bookshelf speakers that match my front L/R for the rear speakers, or get smaller satellites.

The quandary is that the bookshelf speakers are on sale right now where I could get them for less than the satellites. They are heavy at about 22 pounds a piece and would need to be ceiling mounted. In addition I probably couldn't angle them directly down at my seating position. It's just tough to not get the deal on superior speakers for less than the sats, but not sure that the physical compromise would detract from the experience. Please let me know your thoughts.

You have no way of installing swivel wall mount brackets? That is really the only choice for mounting bookshelf speakers.

Custom, one of a kind pair, MJC212 mains, mod PT800 center, PT800 surrounds, SUB1500s. Parasound P7, Citation 19, Parasound HCA2205A, HK AVR3600, Marantz TT, Samsung BD player, Denon DVD-A player, MacBook Pro w/ Dirac Stereo Suite.
